Detailed below are some of the frequently asked questions we get. We hope they help to address some of the questions you might have. We would be delighted to go through any further questions with you so please ask to speak to the Nursery manager.
What are the Staff to Children Ratios?
In accordance with OFSTED the ratios we operate to are:
What sessions can I have?
You can have a minimum of 2 sessions per week which could be either a full day or 2 seperate AM or PM sessions as an example.
Our session times are:
8am to 1pm and 1pm to 6pm.
Full days cover the period 7.30am to 6pm each day.
(Earlier starts for the AM session can be taken by arrangement with the manager).
You can also have an 'add on' session to your AM session from 1pm to 3.30pm in agreement with the Nursery manager in some circumstances.
Can I visit my child during the day?
Of course you are always welcome to visit anytime.
We also promote parents coming into the setting to help or even come to share what you do during your working day (e.g to discuss your profession with the children).
Fees can be paid weekly or monthly but must be a week in advance. Standing orders can also be set up as required.
If you do have to pay cash then this must be given to the manager and a reciept will be handed over to you.
In line with the terms and conditions of the place you must pay fees if your child is absent from illness or holidays. This is because your place is being secured.
