Mealtimes

The children stay in their groups for mealtimes and these are meant to be fun and sociable occasions with the appropriate structure provided.

Breakfast is available for children arriving before 8.30am.

Healthy and nutritious snacks and a 2 course lunch and afternoon tea are provided. Menu's for meals are on display for parents to view at their leisure at the nursery. Please see our example menu page HERE to see on a typical basis the type of menu your child will enjoy.

Special diets can of course be catered for as required.

Starting at Nursery and Settling In

Leaving your child at nursery for the first time is not easy and can be unsettling for both parents and children. We endevour to try and ease this process by offering a complimentary settling in period. This gives you the opportunity to get to know us and discuss your childs routine with their key worker. Please speak to a member of staff for more details.

Sickness

We kindly ask that children should not attend nursery if they are suffering from sickness, diarrhoea, an infectious illness or have any 'unspecific' rash. Should a child become ill whilst at nursery parents will be contacted to collect them as apprpriate.

Collection

You childs safety is our number one priority. As a result, if any person other than Mum or Dad is collecting your child we must be informed who that person is in advance and understand their relationship to the child. We will, under no circumstances, let a child leave the nursery without these prior arrangements being made.
