There is always lots going on at Playtime. In order to keep up to date with what's coming up and planned check the Playtime news every now and then to see what's going on. At Playtime we celebrate festivals that reflect all of the children, who attend any of our nurseries, cultures and beliefs. In the pre-school room to find out what your child is learning about in the term ahead you can look on our parents notice board in the hallway and also emails will be sent to you.
At playtime Tolworth we send out termly newsletters these are available on paper or by email which ever you prefer.
Nursery Autumn term news
September 2011
Welcome back everyone we hope you had a lovely summer, as you may have noticed there have been some changes at nursery and we have divided the room into two meaning there is an under 3's room and a separate pre-school room for the over 3's. We have had to make some changes to where staff are based and key children and hope there has not been too much disruption, we hope you are happy with the new environment if you would like to discuss this further please talk to a member of staff or manager. We have been closely observing the children and have had meetings with our early year's advisors and we can see the room working really well.
The weather has now become a little chilly so remember your child does still go outside at nursery everyday and appropriate /labelled clothing and footwear is needed. Inc: water proof Coats, hats, gloves and wellington boots.
Just a reminder as the hallway is very limited on space could you please take your child's things home every day and as they get older try and provide a small drawstring bag for your child as they are not as bulky as some rucksacks.
Also the cold weather is bringing the usual round of coughs and colds so please can you try to observe whether your child is well enough for nursery and that prescribed medicines will only be given at nursery, Calpol will only be given in the event of a high temperature and you will be phoned to collect your child. Please check exclusion for illness procedure in hallway on parents notice board.
